Gender Awareness E-Learning Provides a Foundation for Culture Change: While poviding gender awareness to all employees and managers may not change the culture, it does however provide a strong beginning, by establishing a common language and some basic key concepts for addressing gender issues. Gender issues are very difficult for companies to address because they are so personal to each individual and absolutetly strike at the heart of one's own perception of themselves and others. The issues become clouded around the way we talk about them and the terms and vocabulary we use to describe what is happening. The Diversity Academy of Scottsdale has found that managing gender issues in the workplace greatly increases communication, productivity and profits. The academy offers a gender awareness e-learning program for individuals and companies.
