In this newsletter, the CGIAR Gender & Diversity Program is proud to announce new resources for your diversity work -

 

One of G&D's most popular working papers (no. 39) - Working with Diversity in Collaborations. Tips and Tools - is now available in Spanish and Arabic. This guide reviews the basics for good diversity work, the key elements of collaboration, and how working with diversity can strengthen collaborative efforts. Included are 11 practical tools for working with multicultural teams, partnerships, collaborations and challenge programs.

Announcing a Special Diversity E-Conference

Building Bridges: Organizational Conflict and Interaction between Cultures

Tuesday, March 9 until Thursday, March 11, 2004

 

The topic of the e-conference is intercultural interaction and conflict resolution within and between organizations. Its aim is to build bridges between practitioners and researchers. Participation is free of charge but you must subscribe to the Delta Intercultural Academy for a password. Go to:  www.dialogin.com

 

Each day, keynote speeches posted by acknowledged experts will address issues of central importance to practitioners and researchers alike in the area of intercultural conflict and its resolution. Peter Smith, Fons Trompenaars, Gert Jan Hofstede, Michele Gelfand and Zeynep Aycan have all agreed to take part as key-note speakers.

 

The e-conference will be facilitated by cross cultural psychologist Nathalie Van Meurs and will be accessible in the FORUMS area of www.dialogin.com.
