An online job service associated with “Nature” magazine for science recruitments. Site has 29,000 job alert recipients and 91,000 recipients of Naturejobs newsletter. It is necessary to contact a representative in order to post a job (http://npg.nature.com/media/nature/jobs/nature_jobs/contacts.html).
Site users: 1.4 million visitors to naturejobs.com each month, 73 percent from North America and Europe, 23 percent from Asia/Pacific.
Cost: US$100 per 100 matched names and $3,000 for the full list. Job matching service is free and vacancy announcement appears on the database for up to eight weeks.

“New Scientist” Jobs

Associated with “New Scientist” magazine, it allows recruitment by region: North America, Europe and Australia/Asia.
Site users 385,000 registered scientists search for vacancies online and 95,000 scientists have requested to receive email alerts for jobs that suit their skills.
Cost: For academic organizations, cost is £295 for single job, £545 for post-doc vacancy.
